I hate Daylight Savings. I think it's one of the worst ideas ever. And every year my hatred of it is backed up by news articles like this one that cite the increase in heart attacks and negative job production the week after the changeover.
That hatred was reinforced this morning when I woke up after a decent night sleep, rolled over, looked at my clock, saw that the alarm would go off shortly giving us just enough time to get up and go to church, and then suddenly was hit with the horrified realization that I hadn't set my clock forward last night. And so the charming hour we had to get ready had been rudely stolen from me and we should have been at church already.
Bah humbug.
Ontology - a branch of metaphysics concerned with the nature of being - Merriam Webster. This is not a philosophical platform - it is simply me trying to consciously be. "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit" (Romans 14:17). Therefore, "...train yourself to be godly...[for] godliness has value for all things…for both the present life and the life to come" (1 Timothy 4:7b-8). And therefore, I study ontology.

I hate normal time. DST is excellent because we get an extra hour of sunshine after work. This is great for disc golf, bike riding, and other outdoor activities. So I think we should keep DST all year or my work should allow me to work from 7:00 to 3:30.
