Georgia

So we went off duty this morning, and I find I am now spending a large part of the day trying to comprehend a sudden and very unexpected loss. Georgia, the second in command here at the children's home, has been sick for a few weeks. She was in hospital then discharged then we got an email this morning saying she was back in ICU and on life support. By early afternoon she had passed on. A woman who devoted her life to Christ and children needing not just Christ but homes and hope and love has now gone on to her eternal reward. And behind her is left a huge hole not just in terms of her position and role here but in the lives of many of the children and adults on this campus. It's just so hard to believe she's gone.
